The Mediterranean is the home of great food. In Malta we have an abundance of fresh produce and fresh fish and are spoiled with a wide choice of foods from neighbouring countries.

Maltese cuisine has naturally been touched by immediate Mediterranean influences but close and lasting relationships with other cultures such as Britain, Italy and North Africa have left their mark. As young Maltese chefs take the opportunity to travel and work abroad, our cuisine has taken on a truly international flavour. The kitchen at Rampila is founded on these traditions and brings you the best that the region can offer. Our team has designed tempting menus for lunch and dinner and we have a selection of unique and freshly prepared daily specials. Fish is always market fresh and the selection changes daily.

Maltese wines have made remarkable advances over recent generations and can now stand along with the world’s finest vintages. We have deliberately kept our wine list compact but have sought to include a comprehensive choice that we trust will meet all tastes and foods. Wines are stored in the passageways and tunnels carved from the rock of Valletta. Temperatures here are stable and quality of the wines can be maintained.
